About Arctern
Established in 2019, Arctern has been developing startups from different sectors such as education, social media and finance. Our expertise area is chess startups. Currently, we are working on developing the world's largest chess games database, "Counter Play".

We provided innovative chess startup (our expertise area) to a Pakistani entrepreneur, helped him to raise early seed capital from a Turkish investor, convinced one chess grandmaster to join the startup company as equity partner and another chess grandmaster to become adviser of the startup company as reliable industry experts; collaborated with a software development team to build the proprietary software for equity instead of monetary payment. We have completed our market research and received highly positive feedback. Currently we are negotiating with Turkish Chess Federation to organize sponsored chess tournaments in order to achieve strong market entry. Afterwards, the entrepreneur and other applicants (4 spots are available for now) will be ready to apply startup visa and obtain residency this way.
